Hawaii WIC Program

Hawaii WIC Program (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, women who had a baby within the last six months, infants, and children under the age of five. One must meet income requirements, Hawaii residence requirement and have a nutritional risk that proper nutrition could help to improve.

Do You Qualify for Hawaii WIC?

To see if you may qualify, you must:

Be a

  • A pregnant woman; OR
  • An infant or child up to five years old; OR
  • A mother of a baby up to six months old; OR¬†A breastfeeding mother of a baby up to 12 months old.
  • Meet¬†income guidelines;
  • Be a resident of Hawaii; and
  • Be seen by a health professional at the WIC clinic.

Missouri WIC Program

Missouri WIC Program (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, women who had a baby within the last six months, infants, and children under the age of five. One must meet income requirements, Missouri residence requirement and have a nutritional risk that proper nutrition could help to improve.

To see if you may qualify, you must:

WIC Program Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Categorical
  • Residential
  • Income
  • Nutrition Risk

Categorical: Women must be pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding stage

Residential: Applicants must live in the State in which they apply

Income Requirement: ¬†Income can’t exceed 185 percent of the Federal poverty guidelines

Nutrition Risk Requirement: ¬†Applicants must be seen by a health professional such as a physician, nurse, or nutritionist who must determine whether the individual is at nutrition risk.¬† In many cases, this is done in the WIC clinic at no cost to the applicant.¬† However, this information can be obtained from another health professional such as the applicant’s physician.
